Well what a weekend…

The Galway International Rally got the championship for 2011 under way this weekend just gone, the weather was brutal Saturday, monsoon downpours brought flooding across the stages. Making the going even tricker for competitors. 

In contrast, Sunday was a virtual Indian Summer, light rain early morning cleared early in the day, and I sware I even saw the Sun! The pace was much much quicker on Sunday, with the drivers showing real commitment as they tackled the stages.

Caora Dubha were out and about both days clicking away at the action, congratulations to local drivers Pat & Gerard Divilly winners of class 11 and sixth over all in the National event…

Shamus the Sheep was delighted with the home event, it meant he could wander across the fields, that sheep is a lazy old sod.
