Tullamore Bash

King of the Hills Simon McKinley was formally crowned Irish Hillclimb Champion in the Court Hotel Tullamore.

A night of fun, frolicking and Frippery rounded off a spectacular championship, in a year that saw Simon McKinley and Paul O’Connell enter a new physics bending dimension of speed.

Simon’s hill records will be hard to beat, could Ballyallaban belong to Simon, as it did for Richard Young? Time will tell, one thing for sure 2011 will sure to be just a spectacular.
