Once again Laois MC visited Tynagh Race Track to host a Sprint, despite a low’ish entry there was a nice variety of cars on track.

Ian Quinn’s Mini made its first appearance in Tynagh Sunday, the Hayabusa Powered Mini  Powered Mini is outrageously quick and the Mini gobbles Tarmac by the yard, judging by the big grin on Ian. I’d say it’s a Hoot to drive. Roll on 2011 Hill Climb Championship..

If there was a prize Sunday for leaning over and cocking a wheel! The Blue Civic below would win hands down. The setup was a bit on the soft side. But it was entertaining none the less.

Rally fans got a treat yesterday as an Ex-Works Metro 6R4 made an appearance at the track, the unmistakeable stereophonic sound of the Metro. Harked back to the 1980’s when these leviathans of speed left Rally Fans Breathless with their Speed.

All-in-All it was a good days entertainment, with the cars getting  four runs on the track, pictures are in the Gallery.
