Carlow MC hosted the first of Tynagh's Sprints for 2011, while entries were down slightly on other years, the quality of machinery made up for this.

Weather wise, it was over cast with only a smattering of showers during the day, track conditions were almost close to ideal making it an excellent start to the year.
